Lisa, I am amazed that Jeff placed this high! I thought he was just going to be trying to survive out there, and instead it sounds like he was in the front of the non-eliters! (which he attributes to you pushing him) I posted his personal account of the day on his blog.

Okay, I'm a bit confused here. Lisa, you say that Ted is in 14th place overall...yet as of 11:45am PTS on the official race website they show Ted's Position Etape 4 at 13th place and the General List Position shows him at 16th place.
I know..it is killing me the confuision..they have changed things a few times..I guess this is why they say temporary results. there could be some runners getting a penalty that would move someone up or even down. it will all work out in the end!!! we need someone to go and get the LA times...there is an article in the sports section today...I would so love to see it.
