What Will Matter

Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end.

There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days. All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten, will passes to someone else. Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance.

It will not matter what you owned.
Your grudges, resentments, frustrations and jealousies will finally disappear.
The wins and losses that once seemed to important will fade away.

It won't matter where you came from or what side of the tracks you lived on at the end.
It won't matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant.
Even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant.

So what will matter? How will the value of your days be measured?

What will matter is not what you want but what you gave.
What will matter is not your successes but your significance.
What will matter is not what you learned but what you taught.
What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.

What will matter is not your competence but your character.
What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you're gone.

What will matter is not your memories but the memories of those who loved you.
What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what.
Living a life that matters doesn't happen by accident.
Its not a matter of circumstance but of choice.
CHOOSE TO LIVE A LIFE THAT MATTERS.

I wish you...................

This is beautiful!

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard.
She did not recognize them. She said 'I don't think I know you, but you must be hungry.
Please come in and have something to eat.'
'Is the man of the house home?', they asked. 'No', she replied. 'He's out.'
'Then we cannot come in', they replied.
In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened.
'Go tell them I am home and invite them in !'
The woman went out and invited the men in.
'We do not go into a House together,' they replied. 'Why is that?' she asked.
One of the old men explained: 'His name is Wealth,' he said pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another one, 'He is Success, and I am Love.'
Then he added, 'Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home.'
The woman went in and told her husband what was said.
Her husband was overjoyed. 'How nice!!', he said. 'Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!'
His wife disagreed. 'My dear, why don't we invite success?'
Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house.. She jumped in with her own Suggestion: 'Would it not be better to invite Love?
Our home will then be filled with love! '
'Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice,' said the husband to his wife.
'Go out and invite Love to be our guest.'
The woman went out and asked the 3 old men, 'Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest.'
Love got up and started walking toward the house. The other 2 also got up and followed him. Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: 'I only invited Love, why are you coming in?'
The old men replied together: 'If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would've stayed out, but since you invited Love, wherever He goes, we go with him.
Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success !!!!!!'

MY WISH FOR YOU... -
Where there is pain, I wish you peace, mercy & healing. -
Where there is self-doubting, I wish you a renewed confidence in your ability to work through it. -
Where there is tiredness or exhaustion, I wish you understanding, patience, and renewed strength. -
Where there is fear, I wish you love and courage.
Love You & GOD Bless You!!!

Happy New Year!!

People come into your life for a Reason, a Season or a Lifetime. When you know which one it is for a person, you will know what to do for that person. When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered, and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it!
It is real! But, only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons -- things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you for being a part of my life.
Happy New Year
Blessings
Lisa
