Beautifully stated

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.

You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time.

You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.

You'll fight with your best friend.

You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.

You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love.

So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.

Don't be afraid that your life will end,Be afraid that it will never begin.

I usually jump on the blog bandwagon on Sunday evenings. I must have just caught this after you posted it.

Very nice of Jim to pass along...... likely because I agree with and lately can identify with much of it....good advice!

Lisa, continue to keep that heart of yours pointed outward and sharing.

Inspire as you do all the time Lisa. This one hits me in the heart real hard tonight. My wife just told me last week is leaving me for another man. The other man happens to be my best friend. Maybe I should email Anne Landers.
Running as you say, is saving my life.

This is a time to reflect on the year, live in the present, and look forward to next year. With the day off, and ready to get outside for a long run, I hear FOX News in the background talking about how bad the economy is and the impact on the holidays. The big 3 auto maker’s troubles, low sales, and banking problems. And I say to myself - don't worry about thing you can't control, especially when it comes to the material stuff. Yes, my stock took a hit, but it will return if I hold the course in the long run. Just like low points in races, you just have to drive through with focus and determination – Stay the course.
As I see my kids off to school, with their smiling faces and a hug for dad in the cold morning air, it reminds me of how precious time is and the hidden blessings often overlooked. The simpler things in life often are. All this to say be thankful for what you have, do good for someone in need without expecting something in return, and appreciate the little things in your life. Don’t waste the gift we have of running long distances and performing at extraordinary events - Use it to benefit someone in need.
To Anonymous who wrote about his wife and ex-best friend – They don’t deserve you, but someone out there does. Give it time and keep running to get through this difficult time.
God Bless

Hi All!

I can tell you that I agree..use your running to help others in need. What a difference it makes!!
If you want to run for the kids I run for 100% of ALL money raised go to the kids. You can get a great deal of information on
www.lisas810.com and I will be happy to help you get started.
Give, give until it hurts and when it hurts keep on giving!

It makes me so sad to read that someone was left for a best friend.
Keep your head high, you are loved by many and TAB is right..they dont deserve you.

Happy day
