For Your Listening Pleasure

Hello Everyone,

Before this year's Badwater Challenge, I had the privilege of being interviewed by Adam Jacobs. Enjoy the interview - you can even download it to your MP3 player and listen to it while you run.

Lisa,

Great interview. I know thing's did not turn out the way it was all set up but it seems that you and the team turned it into so much more fun. Can't wait to meet the coach in person one day. I met Randy in Vermont who was 10 place for his 1st 100, now that it impressive. Nice coaching.

Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the disclipline of the Almighty

Lisa,
Outstanding efforts, I can not imaging the unbelievable challenge
you are going through. Your efforts to help MPD patients is tremendous.
We are at the brink of huge breakthroughs in the treatment of the MPDs!
Just this very month the first of the JAK2 inhibitors are beginning
clinical trials. The crucial research dollars you are raising will help
usher in the era of hopefully dramatically better therapies for MPD
patients. Your dedication, endurance, and altruism are an inspiration.
We all will keep your success, and health, in our thoughts and prayers!
Warmest regards.

again you have demonstrated sucessfully that verse my mother learned so long ago...'its not so much if you win or lose, but how you played the game."

its to sucessfully negeotiate the course, even in a 'race', with a mind for all that sets apart the real winners from the real losers, for there are no losers at all when we are in it together...

for a winner to give of themself, to make others feel a closer part of having sucessfully negeotiated the course, now that's a real winner...

when the example of sacrifice to the middle settles behind the joy of sharing coming in from all sides, that's when the true inspired leadership, the love and the body of souls really become one and see the big picture. kudos to lisa, and to marshall and all the real winners that help us win too. we love you.

and may God bless

So I checked out the pictures from the Not Normal Relay - truly, made me cry. What a Team! Honestly, I would have never thought of this yet it was THE best idea ever existed. Practically deserves more parise than had you done it by yourself. Shows the power of PEOPLE! A God' send of circumstances.
