BUCKLE! BUCKLE!!!!! BUCKLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHE GOT THE BUCKLE!

Unbelievable! With 4 miles to finish and 308 miles behind her, Lisa went all out running to be sure she finished Badwater under the 48 hour limit in order to get that damn buckle!
Everyone is just insanely proud of Lisa. Not surprised, but amazed.

A hearty, huge congratulations to that whole crew that made it possible. George, Leigh, Scott, Terry, Annemarie, Laurie and of course, Sister Mary Beth -- you have done a incredible
job supporting Lisa through an amazing ordeal. Through bats, blisters and naked Navahos you gave the support that she needed.

Lisa- you continue to astonish us.

Now on to Whitney!

    Lisa,

I´m so glad to read that you got your Badwater buckle and you are being able to achieve all the goals that you set. The best part is that you are being able to help many kids and families with your passion. Is incredible to see how amazing things can happen when talent is mixed with leadership and a wish of help others.

Think that with every step you take you increases someone´s hope… but please stop someday, with you will you can easily run around the world…

Hope to see you at GT100 and congratulate you in person for completing 810 project… because you will. Go, go, go, go…..

Oh my gosh!!! I'm soooooo overwhelmed by Lisa's inner and outer strength and all the hard work you and your crew did.

I found this quote in my collection and want to share this as the only way I can describe what your accomplishment translates to in the world of greatness-"mulitpled by infinity, taken to the depth of forever and I barely have a glimps ow what it (Lisa's 810 accomplishments) are all about". I don't know who wrote this, but its the only words I could use to express your accomplishment in real-world terms.

You are truely one in a million Lisa.

    Your student,
    Donna D

If Oprah doesn't knock on your door and drag you to Chicago she's fool. This story of challenge, dedication, inspiration and hope, all for a truly meaningful purpose, sure beats the pathetic footage of Oprah's best friend and food hound, Gayle, traveling the country looking for the best burgers in the country. Millions of people are starving and O thinks airing footage of her overweight friend stuffing her face with greasy food is entertainment and has social significance? Come on O! This athlete, this crew, this cause, this message, is what the world needs to see! Lisa...You Rock; Crew...you're the Best!
