My mother is Japanese and I have yet to hear those words. <BR/><BR/>I am glad you were able to receive this affirmation from your dad before he leaves the Earth. I believe it did both of you good to break this gap. I can't seem to do so myself with my mother no matter how I have tried.<BR/><BR/>Without hearing those words from a parent, here is a gaping hole in our psyche. It can only be filled by hearing, and thus truly knowing, our parents love us.<BR/><BR/>Thanks for telling us about this.
